Our Thoughts Become Our Realities

Have you ever heard of the law of attraction? It is simply the idea that explains how our lives are created through one thing; our thoughts.

The Power of the Mind

Many of us do not realise how powerful our minds are. We have thousands, perhaps even millions of thoughts that cross through our minds each day. Many of these are so small, we think of them as insignificant.

The truth is, everything we think about becomes our reality. We are creating our own lives through our thoughts and the way we think.

This can be an overwhelming concept to grasp, as we also have negative thoughts which create negative outcomes.

Positivity and Thoughts

A positive thought vibrates at a high energy level and is so extremely powerful. If you think about the way your mind can talk you into doing something, that is an example of this positive though process.

However, negative thoughts can easily spiral out of control. Like positive ones, we can talk ourselves out of something due to an overload of negative thoughts.

We can easily become stuck in a negative thought pattern which will become visible in our reality.

We Can Make the Change

Naturally, some days we will wake up and feel low. Understanding that we can control how long we feel this way for is a very powerful tool to grasp.

Always accept how you feel, listen to what your body is telling you and let it do what it wishes. Sometimes we require silence, stillness and rest. Other days, we will wake up feeling energised and radiant.

We are able to shift these thought patterns whenever we feel ready. After feeling low, we can shift our mindset into a more energised one and then we will feel lifted and light. If we continue allowing our mind to feel low and perhaps negative, we will continue to feel this way in ourselves.

Once we grasp the concept that we can actively make that shift, we understand that we are able to live our lives to their full potential and listen to the paths that have been set out for us!

Life Gets Better by Change, Not Chance

Change is Good
Change is Good

Hello all. Self-improvement is a wonderful thing and what we have to realise is that the power is within our hands. Change is where real differences are found, chance is something that happens everyday.

Be the Change!

When there is an aspect of our lives we are not fully content with, generally it means we need to start changing things. The only thing that is really holding you back is you. You are making excuses.

We all have a choice; keep on as we are, or take action and start making changes. Of course, change doesn’t come easy, however, if you want it, you will make it happen.

A lot of people have proven that it takes 66 days to make something a habit. So, whatever it is you are seeking, try it and be persistent. Stick to it for the 66 days, that is just over two months of your life. An example of this would be a lifestyle change. If you wish for a weight loss goal, to be healthier and live longer – the time to start is now. You are limiting your own beliefs and you are preventing yourself from your capabilities. Therefore, let go of your ego and allow yourself to do what you can.

Push the Boundaries

A lot of us become comfortable. We are species who seek routine and generally like familiarity. I am a great believer in routine, for me, it increases my productivity levels. However, I am also spontaneous and I live for that thrill. Routine can become monotonous and that is when we become stuck in rut. We NEED change!

That is when balance comes in. Instead of just settling for what feels comfortable and safe, start pushing limits. You set your own boundaries, learn to alter them.

Each day or even each hour, we have a chance. You can begin to make a difference at any moment in time. Stop waiting for the “right” moment to come alone, take the moment and make it right!

Positive Perspective – Make Your Life Easier

Positive Perspective
Positive Perspective

Hello all. I hope you are having a beautiful week. Today I am going to discuss how having a positive perspective on life can have a huge impact on how we feel on a daily basis.

Positivity, It’s Nothing New

On social media nowadays, we see so many posts about positivity and happiness that I sometimes wonder if we are forgetting the point. Sharing your positive vibes is wonderful, of course, however, don’t just say what you think your followers wish to hear. Make sure you really mean it, then it will be a more powerful message.

Having a positive outlook on your life is, I believe, the best way to live. Life can be really challenging, we all face hurdles and can often wonder how we are going to tackle them. If you start off by altering your perspective, switching your mindset into a more positive one, things will seem easier.

Having the Perspective of A Glass Half Full

I am sure we are all familiar with the term “glass half full or glass half empty”. To me, this says a lot about a person and the way they value their own ability.

When life knocks you back, you chose how to overcome the challenge. The likelihood is, if you see the glass as half empty, you will want to quit sooner and give up. In turn, if you start seeing the glass half full, you will be persistent, believe in yourself and keep going.

Life and the way you live it is really all about perspective. If you want to do something, you will do it. I really don’t think life is meant to be easy, we are built to be challenged and prove our own strength by how we handle things. If you make it your mission to overcome the difficulties, chances are, your perspective will naturally change.

Start Small

Start with setting small goals for yourself. Maybe it is to have three positive thoughts each day. Once you are in this habit, positivity will begin to be a more natural state of mind.

Life may not be easier by just being a positive person. However, life is short, so why waste it worrying or being negative, when you could be in love with each moment and really start living.

Lastly, I want you to remember that I believe in you. If that is the only thing you take away from this post, I will be over the moon.

Keep sharing the love, thank you for reading.

Being the Best Version of You

Be the Best
Be the Best

You are incredible. We are all capable of absolutely amazing things, if we just put our minds to it. I am going to highlight the things we can do to be the best versions of ourselves.

Start Positive Self-Talk

There is no doubt that I have mentioned the importance of positive self-talk in previous posts, simply because I swear by it. I am not one to put myself down and I continuously believe in myself. I recently realised that I see the best side of every situation and I truly believe that is the key to living a happy life.

Loving yourself and speaking words of confidence will make you feel capable. Just like putting yourself down will do the complete opposite, you will bring down your self-esteem and feel low.

Now is the Time

I know so many people who live continuously saying “I’ll start tomorrow”. However, it is usually these same people who are not finding the successes the deserve. I am not saying I have never put something off before, of course I have. However, I know that the best thing for me to do is to begin right away.

Whatever it may be, a phone call you need to make, a gym session you want to attend – just stop making excuses. At the end of the day, you are responsible for yourself and you chose when you do things. Therefore, if you want to make any sort of change, start being productive and acting immediately. The time is NOW.

Always Look Your Best

If you know me, you will know that each morning when I wake up I get ready for the day ahead. No matter what I am doing, I will always get dressed and ready. I am always so much more productive when I do. Pyjama days are not for me, I like to get on with my day.

My friends find it funny how I will put make up on even if I have no plans. But I always say “you never know who you are going to see”. If I feel like I look my best, my own confidence levels are higher and I actually get stuff done.

This may not be the same for you, I am simply expressing what works best for me. This is so important, to understand what you can do for yourself to be the best version of you. Find what works, stick to it and never forget to believe in yourself.

I hope you enjoyed the read.

Love. Xx
