Hello all! Happy New Year. Thank you for a whole year of love and support, I appreciate every single one of you. Today I am going to discuss what we can do in this fresh new year to really make it the best. We are going to fully understand how to live in the moment this year, and let the little things pass us by.
New Year, New Me?
Personally, this is not a phrase which I believe in. However, we can learn to enhance and better ourselves. Be the best version of you! Understand every part of yourself, the best way I have found to do this is through meditation. It is so powerful and it allows us to fully connect and be present. Being in the now is the life’s greatest gift. Other than life itself, that is a pretty spectacular gift.
I once read a book which I would recommend, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff by Richard Carlson. This explores the importance of learning to let go. Don’t overthink things, and if something doesn’t go according to plan, accept and learn from it, never dwell or worry about the past.
Continue Being the Best Version of You
You may not always think it, but you are the most important person in your life. If you are into creating new years resolutions, why not make one of them be to focus and spend more time on yourself. This will enable you to understand your capabilities.
It is appealing to think of a new year as a new start. Use the knowledge you have learnt over the past years of your life to live presently and happily. I like the idea of not setting resolutions, but to set myself some goals for the year. Then I can channel my energy into achieving these.
Just remember to appreciate all you have, the wonderful friends and family around you. Invest in your health and wellbeing, maybe just for a few weeks and see what difference it has on your life. Try your best. Be your best. Learn to love, learn to forgive. Most importantly, stay true to yourself and rise above challenging situations, if you believe in yourself, anything is possible…
