As Autumn is rapidly approaching, now is a great time to let go. Whilst trees are dropping leaves, we can mirror this and drop any doubts we may be feeling.
Give your Feelings Some TLC
Checking in with ourselves is so important for our mental health. Having an understanding of our feelings and thoughts can give us a great insight into what is going on in those great minds of ours.
If you listen to yourself in a way which suits you, perhaps a full body scan through meditation, you will come to understand yourself better. With this, you can decide if there are any underlying emotions which can be let go of.
Picture letting go. I am not going to tell you how to do this, as each of our imagination’s will be so very different.
Take a leap of faith into the new and unknown, ready to start a new chapter feeling light and free.
Practice makes Perfect
Although there is no such thing as perfect…
Letting go seems simple, however, some of us may struggle more than others. This is totally normal.
This is because our mind is a muscle, so being consistent is key. Pushing ourselves out of that comfort zone is the only way we will ever change.
We have to build up this muscle through training, we are shaping our mind. Learning a new skill takes time, energy, persistence and patience. If you understand this and are ready to let go of bottled up thoughts, then I believe in you.
Let Go of the Fear
Many of us are afraid or a little anxious of the unknown. If you think about it, nothing is really known. We don’t know exactly what will happen tomorrow, or next month, so why waste energy worrying about it.
Things happen for a reason, life is full of lessons. I believe we need to start trusting the unknown and letting whatever happens, simply happen.
If you think about it, scientists have a lot of unknowns as well. We don’t know what is in this universe, if there are other life forms or when the world will end. But, I bet you we don’t sit and worry about these things everyday do we? No, because they are unknowns and out of our control.
That is where we let go. Using this logic may help you let go in your own life and start trusting what is around you.
