Hello all. I hope you are having a beautiful week. Today I am going to discuss how we can learn to stop restrictions and really set ourselves free.

Believe & You Will Achieve

I have previously discussed the importance of the mind. If you have your heart set on something and you believe with all your might that you can, then you will. This is the basic law of attraction. Not only are you sending out signals to the universe, but, you are also upping your confidence levels.

Self-confidence is a beautiful thing. Of course, there is a line between being strongly confident and ambitious and being big-headed and cocky. Learn for yourself where this line is.

Your Mind is What is Limiting You

If there is something you really want but keep failing to get, what is stopping you is mainly your own mind. Yes, there are unaccounted for external circumstances, which, sometimes as goes the way of life, are out of our control.

However, if you have the mindset of “I can” and “I will”, then quite simply – you can and you will. You will begin to notice that if you really believe in yourself, others will see this drive and believe in you too. This is a great way of spreading positive energy.

Connecting with Yourself & Being Free

Ultimately, the best way to really feel calamity is to connect with your inner being. You can do this in the way that works best for you. This may be through walking, meditating or yoga, or maybe even a mixture of them all. When you stop thinking about the world around you for a few moments and really focus on yourself, you will learn a lot. You will learn to understand your mind, work with it, not against it.

Telling yourself you aren’t capable of doing something is an example of working against yourself.

Telling yourself you are capable of doing something is listening to your spirit and being true to yourself.

If anything, practice this over the next week. Before long, you will see what a difference it makes to your everyday life, and even the way you think.

Hello all, happy Monday. To start off the week on a bright and positive note I am going to help you spread love. Love is something we can always share more of in our lives, so let’s see how we can up the amount of love surrounding us.

Count Your Blessings

To truly feel like love is upon you, you have to realise how bloody lucky you are. Each one of us is living a beautiful life, we are surrounded by greatness. This may sound a bit cringe, but it is so true. To really feel that great energy, be thankful for all you have. This will ignite that passionate spark within, which will encourage you to spread more of that happy feeling.

Happiness is Greatness & Love Surrounds Us

Those happy feelings you experience on a really good day are your highest vibrations. You feel good, you feel alive. Being kind to yourself and loving yourself will then allow you to glow from the inside. There is a balance between loving who you are and being over-confident and egotistical. Leave your ego out of this. Your ego is your self-esteem and if you view it in that light, you are separating it from yourself. Instead, be true.

Love is all around. Learn to feel it.

Giving a Compliment

It probably goes without saying that people enjoy receiving a compliment. However, some find them hard to give. People can stop themselves spreading positives, even if they think of something kind. Instead, if you feel like one of your friends looks lovely, tell them. This will make both of you feel good. These are the types of feelings we should be sharing, this is spreading the loving vibes.

A great partner to giving is: listening. A lot of people nowadays are bad listeners. This is mainly due to the amount of distractions we face: phones, social media. An excuse, I know. Bring it back to basics and start listening to people. We are all guilty of zoning out from time to time, I still do it. So, try and bring yourself back to the present and listen to what people have to say. They might be reaching out to you. If we stop listening, people will stop talking. Giving compliments should rekindle the spark within us all.

Hello all. Happy March! This year is already flying by, I hope you are all achieving great things. Today I am going to discuss how we can overcome feelings of self-doubt. We can learn to increase our levels of confidence if we believe a little harder.

Why We Experience Self-Doubt

Self-doubt is perfectly normal, almost all of us will experience it and we wish that their are things we “could do”. It’s an emotion which can literally control our lives and prevent us from doing what we love. Not long ago, I wrote a post on why we need to stop comparing ourselves to others (eloiseburns.co.uk) and this ties into the same idea.

The more you compare your situation to that of those around you, the worse you will feel. Comparison causes self-doubt. It knocks self-esteem.  Self-doubt is that little nagging voice inside your own head, saying “you can’t do this” and “you’re not good enough”.

Overcome the Feeling

The best way to stop these negative emotions is to really follow your heart. Learning to trust your intuition takes a lot of time and practice, however, it is so worth it. Deep inside you, you have the capabilities to do anything, it’s infinite. You have to use your power to create positive voices in your mind.

Start sending yourself loving words. Start telling yourself you can. If you believe it, you will do it. If you spend hours and hours perfecting something, you might start to find issues with it. Instead, take a break, think about something else, then come back to it with a clear mind. This way, you allow the self-doubt to leave. You recharge your thoughts with positive and uplifting ones.

Self-doubt is like locking yourself in a prison. Only you have the key and are able to let yourself free whenever you want. As soon as you feel like you are putting boulders in the way of your goals, use all your might to knock them down. This metaphorically is what is going on in your head.
